Bills, New York Finalizing $1.4B Stadium Deal

The Buffalo Bills and the Erie County Stadium Corp. (New York) are finalizing a deal that will ensure that the Bills remain in Buffalo for many years to come as the framework for a deal was unanimously approved on Monday, according to Buffalo News.

Per the report, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said that the deal was “almost in the end zone.”

Within the agreement, which was officially announced in March, the state of New York will contribute $600 million to the $1.4 billion stadium project with Erie County chipping in another $250 million.

As per the deal, the Bills will be required to remain in Buffalo for 30 years.

The Bills contribute $27 million annually in state and local taxes.

The organization is hopeful that they can have a brand new stadium in place for 2026.
