Former #1 overall CFL Draft pick Mark Chapman, who was selected with the first overall pick by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats last season, has “no interest in football”, according to TSN’s Dave Naylor.
Chapman, 23, never played a game for the Ticats and ended up signing with the Denver Broncos last July, but was eventually cut a month later.
Chapman, a wide receiver, then joined the now defunct Alliance of American Football earlier this year.
It’s unclear what Chapman’s plans are for the future, but for now he has zero interest in playing in the CFL.
