Minnesota Lynx rookie Napheesa Collier is taking the place of injured Las Vegas Aces’ forward A,ja Wilson for the upcoming WNBA All-Star Game, according to an official announcement from the league on Monday.
Collier is averaging 11 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists for Minnesota this season, and will now join teammates Sylvia Fowles and Odyssey Sims in Saturday’s game in Las Vegas.
This All-Star game will mark the 7th time that the Lynx have had three or more representatives in the All-Star game, the most in league history for any team.
