SIX PACKS ON ICE, Canadian Major Junior Edition: 2014 Playoff Tracker Week Two

With the first round of playoffs wrapping up, the schedules for the second round have been released. There are still two series in the OHL that have yet to be determined and will be decided in game seven.

WHL

Kelowna Rockets vs. Seattle Thunderbirds: Kelowna and Seattle have each won two games in their four meetings during the regular season. Kelowna and Seattle both won their first round series in five games against Tri-City and Everett, respectively.

Portland Winterhawks vs. Victoria Royals: Portland swept Vancouver in the first round and Victoria swept Spokane. Victoria has won three of the four games they have played against Portland this season.

Edmonton Oil Kings vs. Brandon Wheat Kings: Edmonton and Brandon both won their series in four games, with Edmonton defeating Prince Albert and Brandon defeating Regina. Edmonton has won three of their four games they have played against Brandon this season.

Medicine Hat Tigers vs. Kootenay Ice: Medicine Hat and Kootenay are both coming off of a six-game series, defeating their opponents Swift Current and Calgary, respectively. Kootenay has won four of six games against Medicine Hat.

QMJHL

Baie-Comeau Drakkar vs. Rouyn-Noranda Huskies: Baie-Comeau swept Shawinigan, and Rouyn-Noranda won four out of five against Quebec to move on to the second round. Baie-Comeau has won all three game against Rouyn-Noranda in the regular season.

Halifax Mooseheads vs. Gatineau Olympiques: Halifax defeated Charlottetown, and Gatineau defeated Cape Breton. Both series finished in four games. Halifax and Gatineau have one a game apiece against each other this season.

Val d’Or Foreurs vs. Drummondville Voltigeurs: Val d’Or swept Acadie-Bathurst and Drummondville beat Victoriaville in five games in the first round. Both teams have records of 3-3 against each other.

Rimouski Oceanic vs. Blainville-Boisbriand Armada: Rimouski beat Chicoutimi in four games and Blainville-Boisbriand won four out of six against Moncton. Both teams have won a game apiece against each other this season.

OHL

Guelph Storm vs. London Knights: Guelph has defeated London four times in their six meetings this season. They have moved on to the second round after defeating Plymouth in five games, while London swept Windsor.

Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds vs. Erie Otters: Sault Ste. Marie and Erie both won their first round series in five games against Owen Sound and Saginaw, respectively. In their two meetings this season, each team has a win apiece.

** The Oshawa Generals and the Barrie Colts have won their series in the Eastern Conference. The North Bay Battalion- Niagara Ice Dogs and the Kingston Frontenacs-Sudbury Wolves series will be decided in game seven.
