CAMPUS EDITION — SPORTS BABE OF THE DAY: Dalton McGrath, Goalie, Brock University Badgers

CAMPUS EDITION – SPORTS BABE OF THE DAY: Dalton McGrath, #31, Goalie, Brock University Badgers, @dmcgrath91 on Twitter

22-year-old, 185 lbs, 6’1” goalie Dalton McGrath just completed his second year with the Brock Badgers Hockey Team. Previously a 6th round draft pick in 2008 with Barrie Colts in the OHL Priority Selection, Dalton played for the Barrie Colts of the OHL, Stouffville Spirit of the OJHL, Niagara Ice Dogs of the OHL, and The Hamilton Red Wings of the OJHL before starting at Brock University in 2012. Since being on the Badgers team, Dalton is known for being a composed player both on and off the ice, giving his team the stability that they need, getting better and better each and every time he plays. You can now find Dalton in between the pipes, as he stands out blocking shots, not leaving much in the way of rebounds and moving with the puck well!

4. Almost every guy in hockey has a pregame routine what is your and what is your go-to pregame meal?
I try to stick to the same routine every game day, I eat at the same time, then play video games until I have to go to the rink to get ready. My pregame go-to meal is pasta, always.

I was brought up well by my parents and they always told me to treat people the way you would want to be treated, so that is one thing I remember on and off the ice. And I would say yes I am, when I see little kids I always try and go out of my way to put a smile on their faces.
