It was just 8 weeks ago when Ryan Sheckler ate it while trying to gap back lip a gnarly double-set during an Oakley trip in Australia. With just over one week until the kickoff of the 2013 Summer X Games in Foz Do Iguacu, Brazil, Sheckler is sharing his road to recovery story with ESPN.
Having broken numerous bones over the years, the one-time MTV reality star managed to correctly self-diagnose his painful 5th metatarsal injury (he ripped two of the ligaments off the joint), before getting back to his feet to re-attempt the gap.
