Shawn Thornton takes on Zac Rinaldo – Thornton took exception to a hit that Rinaldo put on his teammate Johnny Boychuk leading to these knuckle sandwiches being thrown.

Chris Terry’s first career goal – With mom and dad sitting up in the stands Terry’s first NHL goal sure gave them something to cheer for.

Phil Kessel ties the game – The Leafs came back from being down most of the game to get a Kessel goal in the 3rd to tie the score late in the period.

Cody Franson putting Sidney Crosby into the boards – He may have just been sliding over to block a shot but Franson tripped up Crosby causing him to crash into the boards earning our No. 7 play of the night.

Ilya Kovalchuk‘s shorthanded breakaway goal – With his team’s first goal of the game Kovalchuk blocked a shot and then took it all the way to the other end of the ice putting in the shorthanded goal.

Alex Semin’s goal – It was the first goal of the game between the Hurricanes and Devils and it was a beauty.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson‘s spin-o-rama leads to goal – After just coming off the bench on a change OEL puts a move on the Dallas forward that leads to Shane Doan getting the goal.

Matt Cullen’s shootout goal – After Mikko Koivu scores on his attempt Cullen comes up next making it look easy and winning the game for the Wild.

Milan Lucic’s no look behind the back pass to Tyler Seguin – Lucic starts the first period scoring frenzy of the Bruins making this fancy pass to Seguin for the goal.

Dan Ellis’ huge sprawling save on Tom Kostopoulos – The Devils had been pressing to get within one of the Hurricanes but Ellis stopped that from happening with this highlight of the night and our No. 1 play of the day.
