The Ottawa Senators have been drawing interest from a number of groups interested in a potential sale of the NHL franchise, with Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds among the names interested in landing the NHL team.
According to Postmedia’s Bruce Garrioch, Michael Andlauer, who is the owner of the OHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs and Rocco Tullio, owner of the Oshawa Generals, have formed a partnership for an attempt to by the Senators.
Additionally, several other interested parties, as the sale of the Senators has seen notable growth in interest.
The sale of the franchise is expected to be tied closely with the development project at LeBreton Flats.
