The BC Lions are holding out hope that quarterback Nathan Rourke will be able to make it back to the playing field for the team prior to the end of the regular season, according to TSN’s Farhan Lalji.
“I think there’s a reasonable chance that Nathan plays again during the regular season,” Lions head coach Campbell said. Rourke has been out since Week 11 with a Lisfranc injury that ended up requiring surgery.
Rourke worked on the side at Thursday’s practice and was listed as a limited participant by the Lions.
Rourke has passed for 3,281 yards and 25 touchdowns in nine games this season.
