The Toronto Argonauts have acquired quarterback Zach Collaros from the Saskatchewan Roughriders in exchange for a conditional 2020 fourth-round draft pick, according to TSN’s David William Naylor.
Per the report, the pick could be upgraded to a second rounder based around contract extension and playing time clauses.
The trade brings Collaros back to Toronto, where he started his career and played two seasons before heading to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, where he spent four seasons before a trade sent him to the Riders.
Last season, Collaros threw for 2,999 yards with 9 touchdowns and 13 interceptions for Saskatchewan.
