Minnesota Lynx forward Karima Christmas-Kelly will miss the remainder of the season due to an injury in her right knee, according to a team announcement.
Christmas-Kelly underwent an MRI at the Mayo Clinic in Minneapolis on Monday, which revealed the injury.
The forward is averaging 2.7 points, 0.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game in her first season with Minnesota.
Christmas-Kelly will have surgery on Tuesday.
