Venus and Serena Williams have been eliminated from the French Open women’s doubles tournament.

The 3rd seeded Andreja Klepac and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez beat the Williams’ sisters 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-0 to advance to the quarterfinals.

While it is the end of the French Open for Venus, Serena will play again on Monday as she takes the court against Maria Sharapova in the fourth round of the women’s singles tournament.

Tournaments are a part of the sports landscape, and now web3 is inching in, with gaming crypto and even things brand new such as content creator NFTs which are so new to the market that many athletes at the top of their games, like Serena and Venus are, have gotten involved on some level.
