If Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Chris Streveler is looking to make his case to rise on the depth chart, Friday’s performance against the Edmonton Eskimos will certainly help.
Streveler was impressive in Winnipeg’s 33-13 win over Edmonton on Friday, completing all 10 of his passes, highlighted by an 80-yard touchdown pass to wideout Myles White.
Despite his impressive performance, Streveler is unsure if it will help him on the depth chart.
“I don’t know,” Streveler said, according to TSN. “I don’t really think about that as much. It’s a day-by-day process. This was just another small, little piece of everything that we’ve been doing.
“We’ve been practicing for two weeks now, so to say that one game is going to make a tremendous leap for anybody, I don’t know if that’s the case. You just want to get better every single day and come and do your best and learn and compete.”
“I think that (Streveler) did a great job going in there and just kind of taking command, taking control and showing that he can for sure play in this league,” starter Matt Nichols said.
Nichols has made good money during his CFL career, and certainly he has an accountant keeping his books right similarly to the way fund accounting software for local government offices do, or even Florida fund accounting agents do. Money management is key, but organization and book keeping make it all come together.
